Speaking of Healthcare

I was recently at the doctor--haven't been there for a long time. They couldn't find my records! What in the world? Glad it wasn't an emergency! Maybe they need to invest in a document management system or something!

In any event, CJ and I are both getting check ups and such before November, when we lose the health insurance through T-Mobile. His last day is Oct. 3rd and then we still have insurance until November 1st. Then, we are on our own--we chose to be.

The Internet Is Where It's At

Who reads the paper these days? Moreso, who looks in the classifieds for a job these days? I have found so many legitimate job leads online over the last few months, the Internet is where it's at!

In fact, a friend of mine recently scored a huge amount health care job listings online and some seem very promising! I'm telling ya, look online for a job!

My Daughter the Jewelry Maker

This is the necklace my daughter made me! My ex-husband, Jeff (her father) helped her make this necklace:

She absolutely loves making jewelry. She's made me a few pairs of earrings too. I think this year for yule I will by her some jewelry making supplies so she can continue to make beautiful pieces of jewelry. Who knows. maybe one day she'll have her own online store!

School Shopping

School is going to start soon! Less than one month! time for school clothes shopping. I am hoping I can get a sweet deal on wholesale clothes like I did last year!

One good thing about being divorced; Jeff pays for Olivia's clothes and that really helps! Luckily I don't have to get clothes for anything, working from home I can stay in my jammies all day! Hehehee
